Ingredients
500g
fresh spaghetti
40ml
pure olive oil
250g
fresh green prawns, peeled and deveined
Small block
parmesan cheese
To garnish
baby basil leaves
Directions
- Cook spaghetti according to packet instructions, reserving ½ cup of the cooking liquid. Rinse spaghetti and drain well.
- Heat a frying pan over a medium high heat, add half the oil and when hot add the prawns, cooking for 2 minutes on each side, or until just cooked through.
- Add ¾ of the Obela Basil Pesto, Pecorino and Cashews Deli Style Dip and reserved cooking liquid. Toss to combine.
- To serve, divide pasta between 4 serving bowls, allowing for 5-6 prawns per serve. Combine the remaining pesto with remaining oil and drizzle over the pasta. Finish with shaved parmeasan and fresh basil leaves.
